Project Manager -Highways

Location: Spalding

Duration: Long term freelance (outside IR35 ok)

Rate: £420-450pd

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Highways Project Manager to work on a major road reconstruction in the Spalding area of Lincolnshire. This role will be assisting in a £1.8m active travel scheme to upgrade walking, cycling and similar routes around Spalding. Immediate start for the right candidate.

The Role

This is a hands-on, Site Based position overseeing highways maintenance works, with a strong focus on streetworks and similar, including:

* New cycle lanes
* new road construction
* 278 works
* Supervising site teams and subcontractors
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time

The majority of work will be carried out on day shifts.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Highways PM
* Essential: Highways experience
* Proven experience managing highways and civil engineering projects
* Strong understanding of health & safety and highways operations
* Valid CSCS and relevant supervisory certifications preferred

Package

* £420-450 per shift
* LTD or CIS payment available
* Ongoing work
* Ideally suited to candidates who do not require lodging
