We create communities as well as careers. Our dedication to inclusivity, environmental responsibility, and social values goes beyond simply checking a box. It is ingrained in our hiring, training, giving back, and thought processes.

In 2023, we formed a committed Social Value team with the single objective of making our influence noticeable and significant. We support a range of difficult-to-reach groups by providing social value throughout the UK construction and recruitment landscape. But don't rely solely on what we say. Here's what the numbers say.

£95,151

Caval

At Caval, we've always felt that building should improve people's lives, not just through structures, but also through deeds. To help the communities where we live and work, we established The Caval Foundation in 2021. The Foundation raises money and awareness for eight carefully selected charities, each of which is chosen by our team to support causes that are important to them. We continue to support individuals who are genuinely improving the lives of vulnerable people in the UK through company-wide fundraising, salary sacrifice, and a portion of our profits.

Donations are important, but so is doing what's right together.

Prioritising People.

We know that a diverse, inclusive workplace isn't just the right thing to aim for, it's essential for building a stronger, more innovative business. That's why we are pleased to be spearheading change by consistently investing in equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) throughout our supply chain and teams. Our employees have completed 495 hours of training through the Supply Chain Sustainability School, earning us Gold Status. But it doesn't stop there. We actively support neurodiversity in the workplace, have integrated Mental Health First Aiders throughout our offices, and promote advancement through an organised development program and apprenticeships.
