About the Company

Our client a leading contractor specialising in healthcare provide new build and refurbishment projects across the UK including medical spaces & mobile theatres to live clinical environments.

The Opportunity

As an experienced Mechanical Project Manager, you will join an established site team delivering a £30m healthcare extension in the Wimbledon area. This role will focus on overseeing mechanical services, ensuring strict compliance with industry regulations, managing budgets, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and healthcare stakeholders. You will be responsible for addressing on-site challenges, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.

What We're Looking For

Relevant Qualifications:

* SMSTS
* First Aid (Desirable not essential)
* Valid CSCS / JIB Card

Experience:

* A strong history of operating as a Project Manager on new build / refurbishment projects in the healthcare sector is essential, preferably in the last 5 years.
* Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar position on projects in excess of £10m

* In-depth understanding of local, national, and international regulations that impact mechanical systems



Key Responsibilities

* Provide expert mechanical knowledge
* Lead mechanical subcontractors and site teams
* Provide leadership and direction on mechanical project requirements
* Develop and manage mechanical project plans, schedules, and deliverables
* Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Oversee the development and review of mechanical system designs and drawings
* Allocate duties and responsibilities across the team to optimise efficiency and workflow
* Create comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
* Develop and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and maintain fin
