Site Supervisor - Highways

The Project

As an experienced Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing road construction projects across the North West.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experience as a minimum;

* SSSTS / SMSTS
* CSCS
* EUSR / Streetworks (not required but good to have)

For this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Experience as a Site Supervisor/Foreman overseeing road construction, civils, earthworks, drainage
* There will be a mix of day and night shifts (nights at an uplifted rate)
* The Majority of the works are around the North West but there will be some working away

* Reporting to: Site Manager



Duties

* Monitor and produce good quality of work
* Plan and Coordinate highways and civils works
* Assisting the site manager with the day-to-day running of the site
* Ensuring that safety plans and method statements are adhered to onsite by all operatives and sub-contractors
* Checking that materials, plant, equipment and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements
* Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all site activities and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time
